Jupiter the Jewel

Soon after I joined POSH, I met a puppy named Jupiter who suffered from neurological damage since birth. I was told that the poor baby wouldn’t even be able to see the age of 1. He always used to be secluded from the rest of the dogs, since he was a delicate little pup who couldn’t even balance himself to stand straight due to his neurological damage. He spent his days in his cage, alone and depressed.

I was determined to make him feel like a normal puppy, chaotic and full of energy. I visited him almost daily, bringing with me whatever I felt would give him joy and happiness, including toys, biscuits, treats, etc. It took a little time for him to get used to me, but soon enough he and I became best friends!

I knew that his time with me was limited, but I wanted to make the most out of it and shower him with as much love as possible. He passed away peacefully in his sleep when he was 2 years old, much older than what most people thought he would live up till. A warrior till the end, he didn’t let his differences stop him from living his life to the fullest.
