Plastic bottle collection

It is the duty of our school’s Interact Club to keep the school sanitary and healthy but to also not just stop there. We remain determined to spread awareness among our fellow students, since the fight for welfare is not ours alone. To ensure this, we organize and partake in a plethora of events aimed towards the betterment of the school and the community.

One such event was the collection of plastic bottles which are discarded thoughtlessly in the wrong-coloured dustbins by the students and faculty. We collected all the plastic bottles found in the dustbins at the end of the day for 2 weeks. After we managed to collect about 100 of them, we went from class to class with the bottles, talked about the importance of proper waste segregation, and encouraged a more conscience thought process while disposing off waste.
